Meet the bands.
Stay for the stories.

Unlikely bandmates make music, share a stage, and build a life together. Two bands. Stories that keep going.

01 / THE BAND

Wrong World
Orchestra

Different worlds. Same room. One sound.

Celia, Bo, Vera, Kai, Kinu, Pip and Echo together in ROOM ZERO, each retaining their own visual medium
ROOM ZERO · Where seven worlds learn to share a room

Keep your edges. Find your people.

Cel animation, black-and-white film, 3D animation, manga, 8-bit games, woodblock prints, and shadow. Seven people step out of their own worlds and meet in ROOM ZERO, an old screening room turned rehearsal space.

They do not have to look alike to belong together. Making room for each other’s sound is how the songs—and the friendships—grow.

Vera — Black-and-white film

Black-and-white film

Vera

Lead vocals

Personality & connections

A poised frontwoman with a smoky voice and a dry sense of humour. The film scratches followed her into the present. She wants you to hear the new song.

Pip keeps her honest. Echo leaves room for her next breath.

Celia — Cel animation

Celia

Synths

Personality & connections

The quiet organiser in the yellow cardigan. She finds the chord that lets seven different sounds belong together—and occasionally has to stop saving everyone else’s solo for later.

Bo helps her start. She helps him leave a little silence.

Bo — Cinematic 3D animation

Bo

Drums

Personality & connections

Big hands, a warm laugh, and surprisingly delicate timing. He wants to be the beat everyone can come home to. When the room goes quiet, he sometimes adds one fill too many.

Pip is his rhythm-section partner, never his sidekick.

Kai — Black-and-white manga

Black-and-white manga

Kai

Electric guitar · 6 strings

Personality & connections

Bold ink, big declarations, and a riff for almost everything. He wants to be needed for his melody, not just his volume. Kinu’s quiet notes are his favourite argument.

Kinu is his friendly rival: power meets space.

Kinu — Ukiyo-e woodblock print

Ukiyo-e woodblock print

Kinu

Shamisen · 3 strings

Personality & connections

Paper fibres, ink lines, and a remarkably direct observation. Quiet does not mean cautious. She is often the first to try the thing nobody else would suggest.

She gives Kai’s guitar somewhere to land; Pip hears her experiments first.

Pip — Coarse 8-bit pixels

Coarse 8-bit pixels

Pip

Electric bass · 4 strings

Personality & connections

A small sprite with a large opinion about the low end. Direct, observant, and determined to be heard as the bassist. Less visual detail does not mean less musical detail.

Bo is his equal on the beat. Vera gets his unfiltered reviews.

Echo — An independent shadow

An independent shadow

Echo

Backing vocals

Personality & connections

A hat-shaped silhouette that travels across walls and floors. A warm voice, an unexpected reply, and no body casting the shadow. Wants a place in the band, not an explanation.

Vera makes space in the song. Celia makes space in the frame.

02 / THE BAND

Sun Giant Systems

A solar-system band. Earth is not always the main character.

Sun Giant Systems, from their published music video

Human worries. Planet-sized perspective.

The Sun and planets make music—and have opinions. Earth’s pride, Saturn’s rings, the energy arriving from the Sun: science becomes the starting point for a very large-scale argument.

The Sun is a full member. Just too big to fit in the frame. You hear the voice and see the light.

The calm centre. Too large to fit in the shot.

MercuryTambourine

Restless, competitive, always one lap ahead.

VenusVocals

Elegant, provocative, ready to overturn a boast.

EarthBass

Earnest caretaker. Can talk about life for a little too long.

MarsGuitar

The punk who refuses to be somebody else’s next home.

JupiterBand leader

A grand showman who would like everyone on schedule.

SaturnHarp

Elegant and fond of attention. Do not insult the rings.

UranusSynths

Perfectly ordinary, by his own standards.

NeptuneDrums

A quiet poet who never rushes the reply.

Pluto is a dwarf planet and, in the story, a former member. The personalities and conversations are fictional.
