However, every English app required multiple taps to start learning, forced me to watch ads, or had unnecessary gamification, making them difficult for me to use. So, I thought it would be great to have a device that automatically displays English just by placing it there without tapping, so I outsourced and prototyped an automatic English-Japanese display device. But the cost was high, and hardware updates were difficult. So it was left as is. Of course, I thought about a smartphone app, but I didn't have much coding knowledge. I didn't have time either. Then came coding AI.
Using Golden Week, I asked GPT, 'I want to make an English learning smartphone app, what should I do?' From there, I bought a MAC and development began. In the beginning, the style was copying and pasting code written by GPT Oboe and Gemini into VS Code.
